Adam Schiff has so far refused to release the transcript of Intel IG Michael Atkinson.
He was supposed to a star witness for Schiff but so far he won’t let the voters see what he said.
Atkinson you might remember is who claimed the whistleblower was very credible but he had to change the rules so you could file a complaint even if you have no actual first hand knowledge.
So why not release the transcripts” Rep John Ratcliffe says he knows. Ratcliffe says that Schiff does not want people to find out what happened when he questioned Atkinson.
He could not be specific but he may have asked Atkinson what his wife’s relationship to Fusion GPS the home of the fake Steele Dossier is.
Or perhaps he asked him about why he changed the rules just for the alleged whistleblower.
He may have also asked him if it is true that the whistleblower is a real whistleblower.
In order to be a whistleblower you must be filing a complaint against a member of the Intel community, which the president is not.
Republican Texas Rep. John Ratcliffe hinted Saturday at the reason he believes House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff won’t release Michael Atkinson’s transcript.
Ratcliffe suggested in a tweet that Atkinson, the Intelligence Community Inspector General, might have revealed information about a possible connection between the whistleblower and members of Schiff’s staff.
“It’s because I asked IG Atkinson about his ‘investigation’ into the contacts between Schiff’s staff and the person who later became the whistleblower. The transcript is classified ‘secret’ so Schiff can prevent you from seeing the answers to my questions,” he tweeted.
Ratcliffe was responding to a question tweeted by Paul Sperry, former D.C. bureau chief at Investors Business Daily, about the fact that Atkinson’s transcript was still being withheld nearly two months after his closed-door testimony.
“Why is Schiff still withholding transcript of ICIG Michael Atkinson’s Oct 4 closed-door testimony which lasted 8+ hours? He’s released 15 witness transcripts but is still hiding Atkinson’s,” Sperry noted.
