“I Caught the Swamp. I Caught Them All. Let’s See What Happens!” – President Trump Drops a Bombshell

The opinions expressed by columnists are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of David Harris Jr.

President Trump sent out a cryptic message about the swamp. “I caught the swamp. I caught them all. Let’s see what happens. Nobody else could have done it but me.” One would just about have to imagine that he is talking about the Deep State and their attempt to cost him the election and later to smear him with the Russian Collusion Hoax. We know that the IG report is very late in being released, and then we find out it’s being held up because John Durham has convened a grand jury. People could be indicted very soon.

It started out as an investigation, morphed into a criminal probe, and finally into a grand jury proceeding. I would also assume that it revolves around the 4 FISA applications and the lies that were told to get them approved. When you file an application, you must do two things. You must only present the facts, and you must sign off on the warrant, swearing that you have verified the facts within.

Filing a false report is a federal crime that carries a maximum penalty of 5 years per offense. We know that James Comey signed three of them. Others who may have signed one or more of the FISA applications are Sally Yates, Rod Rosenstein, Andrew McCabe, Loretta Lynch, and assorted lower level DOJ and FBI employees.

So, how did things progress so quickly? We don’t know, but we have been told that former FBI lead attorney James Baker flipped and is cooperating with Barr and his investigation. He knows where the bodies are buried. Things could get very interesting before the end of this year.

The other thing the people who write the applications must do is to include all exculpatory evidence. We know they did not do this for General Michael Flynn and George Papadopoulos. Grab a beer and some popcorn and settle back for some real fun.
